Garage storage cabinets give a Bucks County garage a clean, closed home for paint, chemicals, tools and supplies, so the floor stays clear for the car. Closets For Less designs and installs custom garage cabinets and storage across Bucks County, PA, from our base in Warminster. Every system is sized to your walls at a free in-home consultation and shown to you as a 3D design before anything is ordered.

Need a heavy-duty workbench for weekend projects or floor-to-ceiling cabinets to hold the bulk pantry overflow? We design both, along with slatwall, overhead racks and shelving.

Systems We Offer For Bucks Co. Garages

Most garages need more than one kind of storage. These are the systems we combine:

Custom Garage Cabinets

Cabinets are the anchor of a tidy garage. They are the right choice for anything that looks messy no matter how neatly you stack it, like paint cans, automotive fluids and cleaning supplies, because closed doors give the wall a uniform front.

Unlike the fixed-size cabinets sold in stores, ours are sized to your walls and work around water heaters, electrical panels, windows and steps. Lockable doors and drawers keep sharp tools and chemicals away from children.

Garage Slatwall

Cabinets hide things; slatwall is for what you need to grab and go. It suits the awkward items that never stack well: rakes, shovels, ladders and hoses. Hooks, baskets and shelves slide into the panel’s grooves and move when your needs change, so nothing leans in a corner waiting to fall.

Overhead Racks

Floor space is the most valuable space in a garage. Overhead racks hold the things you need once a year: holiday decorations, camping gear and file boxes. Using the space above the garage door and in high-ceiling zones frees the lower walls for vehicles and daily traffic.

Integrated Garage Workbenches

For the homeowner who likes to tinker, a workbench is the heart of the garage. Repairing a bike, potting plants or woodworking all need a tough, roomy surface.

We build workbenches directly into the cabinet run, with high-pressure laminate or butcher block tops set at a comfortable working height for you.

Heavy-Duty Garage Shelving

Sometimes you need open access instead of closed storage. Our heavy-duty shelving suits items you grab often and heavy bins that need a sturdy home. Unlike wire racking that bends under load, it is built to hold real weight without sagging. Shelves adjust, so large coolers fit at the bottom and small tool cases above.

Layouts For Bucks County Homes

Bucks County housing varies more than most. Older homes in lower Bucks often have a one-car or narrow attached garage where every inch counts, while newer homes in the central and upper townships often have two- and three-car garages with long, empty walls. A layout that works for one rarely fits the other, so we design for the garage you have. We provide garage designs for homeowners across the county, including:

Organizational Playbooks for Bucks Co. Families

Installing cabinets is half the job; the other half is deciding how you will use them. These are common layouts for Bucks County garages.

The Athlete’s Zone

Families with active kids know the struggle of tripping over cleats and balls. A sports zone fixes it: a section of slatwall with hooks for lacrosse sticks and baseball bats, baskets for balls, and vented lockers for sweaty gear.

The Seasonal Swap

Many homeowners struggle with the change of seasons. High storage keeps the holiday decorations out of the way in July, while lower cabinets near the door hold the beach chairs.

When winter comes, the beach chairs go up and the snow blower and ice melt take the spot by the garage door. A good layout makes this a quick swap instead of a weekend chore.

The Workbench & Hobby Hub

For the DIY enthusiast, a clear work surface is essential. A butcher block or high-pressure laminate top built into the cabinet run gives you a sturdy place for repairs and hobbies. Shallow drawers for hardware and pegboard or slatwall for hand tools surround it, so you are not hunting for a screwdriver.

Why Choose Closets For Less?

Homeowners across Bucks County choose us because:

  • Built for Pennsylvania weather: A Pennsylvania garage sees big temperature swings and humidity. Our garage cabinets use thermally fused laminates and off-the-floor mounting to protect against moisture, road salt and the damp garage floor.
  • Real customization: We do not sell one-size kits. We measure your garage and work around obstructions like conduit, pipes or an uneven concrete floor to use every available inch.
  • Heavy-duty hardware: Soft-close steel hinges and heavy-duty shelving that will not bow under tools or paint cans.
  • One local team from start to finish: A locally owned company since 2007, with 4.8 stars on Google. We handle the design consultation, the 3D design, revisions and installation ourselves.

Reviews

What our neighbors say

Over 100 reviews across Google, HomeAdvisor, Angie's List and Facebook.

I am beyond thrilled with the end product. Aaron custom designed a closet/cubby system for our mudroom. It looks like a million bucks but cost much less than California Closets. He was excellent to work with and was even patient with my little kids and dog during install. Absolutely awesome!
Amy M.Warrington, PA
Aaron and his entire team were absolutely top-notch. I was hesitant because I have two left hands and zero knowledge on custom closets. However, from our first meeting, Aaron made the entire process very smooth. I interviewed several companies and ultimately chose Closets 4 Less Bucks! You should as well! You will not be disappointed.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to have garage cabinets installed?

It depends on how many cabinets you need, their height and width, workbenches, drawers and locks, and the finish. A full wall of tall cabinets costs more than slatwall with hooks and a few shelves. We give you a free written estimate with a 3D design after measuring your garage, so you can add or remove pieces before you decide.

What is the best material for garage storage cabinets?

A Bucks County garage sees humidity, temperature swings, road salt and a damp floor, so the material has to handle all of them. Our garage cabinets use thermally fused laminate finishes that resist moisture and wipe clean, with steel hinges and shelving that will not bow under heavy tools. Cabinets are mounted off the floor so they never sit in water.

Is it cheaper to build or buy garage cabinets?

Building cabinets yourself can cost less in materials if you have the tools, time and skill. Store-bought cabinets are fast but come in fixed sizes that leave gaps around water heaters, panels and steps. Custom cabinets cost more than a kit, but they are sized to your walls and installed level even when the concrete floor is not.

What should you avoid storing in the garage?

Avoid keeping things that heat, cold or damp will ruin, such as electronics, photos, important papers and paint you want to keep usable. Chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides and fuel should go in closed, lockable cabinets away from children and pets, and the label tells you their temperature limits.

Can you install slatwall and overhead racks along with cabinets?

Yes. Most garages work best with a mix: cabinets for things you want hidden and protected, slatwall for tools and gear you grab often, and overhead racks for bins you use once or twice a year. We plan all three together so each wall and the ceiling space does a specific job.
